Spoilers littered throughout.Im happy to see the true spirit of friendship thrive here at Winterhaven, Mrs G. continued. Vampire, lycan, shape-shifter, Sabbat-all coming together as friends, despite their differences, despite their natural instincts. Its a rare thing, isnt it? If only the rest of the world could take notice.Im glad I had no clue what this was going to be about before I read it. I would have just pushed it aside and really missed out. I thought I was tired of vampires, but thisI loved this book! I started Friday night and finished it Saturday morning and I really enjoyed every page! Full Review at the Bewitched BookwormsOk, what do we need for a good story, a story you enjoy? First of all we need a good story and a nice plotline. Then we need ( which is even more important) characters you can fall in love with. A main character that doesn't annoy you and of course ... a swoon worthy mysterious guy! Oh and of course, the love! *le sigh*Full Review will come! But put
Apparently all YA books now are all the same thing. A girl starts in a new school, normally a boarding school, where she meets some new friends, she will feel accepted, she is not a freak anymore, and she will fall in love with the hottest guy in the school, who is also in love with her, but he is always keeping secrets because he wants to protect her. In less than a paragraph I just told you what this book is about. My first impression was good. I liked the way the author starts the story about

I really liked this book it has been a while since I read a good YA paranormal romance it was written if a bit slow to really get started. I really liked the characters especially Violet and Aidan I really liked their romance it was not too slow or too fast I really like how it developed. I also liked the other characters they were well fleshed out and really interesting characters to read about. I liked the plot of the story I liked the concept of the idea of there being a school for for people
*4.5*In today's YA world there's a lot of paranormal books out there, and while all of them have interesting ideas, very few have the ability to have me completely entranced in their worlds. Luckily enough, Kristi Cook's Haven is one of the few, because not only is it a refreshing and unique paranormal read but it's a book you can't help but read in one very long sitting; a good sign indeed.Haven begins with Violet's very first day at Winterhaven, an elite boarding school. At Winterhaven, Violet
Haven starts with a girl going to boarding school. Only she isnt just a girl, and it isnt just a boarding school. Violet has a secret, and everyone shed told thought she was crazy (Soul Screamers? ) And the boarding school was no ordinary school either (Balthazar, are you there?) There she meets a hot aloof guy (Me, picturing that scene from that movie, in a science class where the female MC attempts to subtly catch a whiff of herself.) They fall in love only hes all I MUST not encourage this
