Criticize Appertaining To Books UnSouled (Unwind Dystology #3)

Unsouled is the third book in the Unwind series. And probably the most forgettable.The characters I had grown to love in the first two books all come to a halting stop in this edition. The gang is all split up and everyones angry and confused. No one knows where theyre going or why theyre doing anything. They cant make a decision about anything. Its like all of a sudden our once-heroic MCs just shut down completely. Its probably the BIGGEST downfall of every YA series ever written. Katniss shuts

While this book had a couple of problems for me, I'm still giving it the 5 end of 4+ stars. There is a bit of a stall midway, but even there Shusterman keeps things somewhat lively. And just about the time I thought he was going to descend into "I'm going to decide what's best for someone else no matter how they feel about it" territory, he saved things. I can't stand that plot device because it is so disrespectful of the person about whom things are being decided - all in the name of love,

Reread/buddy read with some fellow BBBersWhile this is my least favorite book of the series it is still a strong 4 star read for me. I love the character development and the way even more of the history of unwinding is shown to the reader. The first read through I was a little distracted waiting for Conner and Risa to find each other again, but this read through I could sit back and really take in the story.
