Divergent Parody: Detergent
Okay, that's the serious book pitch. This is a book that makes fun of Divergent. It's a parody, so it follows the same basic story but is more outrageous, silly, stupid and all the other things that make a great parody great. Mockery has a proven track record delivering laughs and this one doesn't disappoint. If you loved Divergent, try Detergent!
Eh. It had a couple of funny parts. Glad I was reading it for free.
I loved this book! It's an ebook, but totally worth checking out. It would really make more sense if you've read Divergent by Veronica Roth. Because, it is a parody of that. A very hilarious one I might add. i absolutely laughed my butt off! So may funny wordings and names, it just doesn't stop. If you've read Divergent, then I strongly suggest that you read Detergent by Reid Mockery...

If I could give zero stars, I would. There was very little funny about this. Just a lot of toilet humour. Actual toilet humour - every scene seemed to feature someone urinating or defecating. And a dose of homophobia in changing the 'Capture the Flag' scene to a 'Capture the Fag' scene. And changing character names to vulgar names that sounds like something Bart Sompson would call Moes to ask for. Very poor parody.
This was hilarious af.
Okay, SO. The book is /meant/ to be this bad, so I guess my low score is just a confirmation of the author's purposes. I had a good laugh, but yeah, it wasn't a /necessary/ reading after all...
GOD!!! im dying to read this book I loved divergentand I know this book will be amazing
