There is some downright terrifying and infuriating information in this book. A lot of people know or suspect that their government is involved in shady activities that go against citizens best interests, but its made more real when you hear specifics from experts/activists that have been fighting it for years. Each interview does end with the interviewee giving advice on how to combat tactics of empire or words of encouragement in the fight against it which is a bit comforting. But this book

Derrick Jensen is an American author and environmental activist living in Crescent City, California. He has published several books questioning and critiquing contemporary society and its values, including A Language Older Than Words, The Culture of Make Believe, and Endgame.
