hillarious.. i was picturing hend sabry the whole time
Got the point no need to read the whole book.. Funny though.. Shity series

A light, humorous and entertaining read! This one got me literally LOL. I read the book in Arabic which would be definitely funnier than the English one because the humor in the Egyptian tone the writer used would be lost in translation. Having read the book, i now look forward to watching the TV series.
Egyptian chick lit! I enjoyed the memories it brought back of Cairo. I could see how the humor would be funnier in Arabic--sometimes I could see the rhythms of Arabic shining through the translation. Unfortunately, the English version--it's hard to enjoy that humor much without that linguistic context. However, I did appreciate the little window into contemporary Egyptian woman's life...dealing with much of the same overt sexism that we Western women dealt with in the 1950's.
reading the book reminded me of the old blogging days when I was reading the same from the writers blog although I read it before yet I still enjoyed it which is a sign that this book is really a good one and that ghada is a real talented writer
After having this book on hold for over a year at the library (I'm still baffled as to why it took so long to get the shipment in and have thee books go into circulation) I was finally able to read it in October. I suppose my tardiness in finally writing a review for it makes sense seeing as how long I waited to read it. This was my read for Egypt for Around the World challenge last year and I'm really glad I gave it a try. I'm always interested in learning about other cultures and I love

Identify Books In Favor Of عايزة أتجوز
